Coach leaves Survivor, but stays in our hearts!

Survivor needs more people like Coach. Let's face it- no one remaining on Survivor: Tocantins is very interesting, especially when compared to the wild personality of Coach Ben Wade. Yes, the blindside that took him out of the game was great. Yes, like everyone else I wanted him gone because he was annoying, egotistical, arrogant, and flat-out weird.

But that's what kept me watching Survivor with rapt attention.

Lets look at a few reasons why Coach Wade made Survivor so good this year:
  • His self-proclaimed expertise in literally everything made it fun to see if he could put his money where his mouth was...ever.
  • His speeches, monologues and summaries of nearly everything, big or small, that happened in the game.
  • The obvious conflict with other players and even the Survivor host, Jeff Probst.
  • His ridiculous stories.
CBS couldn't have asked for a better player. Coach added the clashing personality, unnecessary drama and bizarre antics that keep us coming back to reality TV. Even after being voted out of the Forza tribe, he still managed to make Survivor memorable with his stay at Ponderosa.

So here is to you, Coach! As much of a crazy wacko as you are, thanks for making Survivor fun to watch!

I love the "Coach leading by example" video. Ha.

And I never watched. But I wanted him off too.

I haven't watched survivor since like Borneo. I've been hearing about this season though, sad I missed out.

Coach brings a bad name to christians. He is a stuck up dork who should have been kicked off on day 1.
