Ryan's Music
It has always been funny to note how people deal with pressure and stress in different situations. To deal with what I have aptly named "the summer from hell", my brother, Ryan, turned to his acoustic guitar and produced astounding results.
Before early April, Ryan had a limited knowledge of guitar, knowing only how to play essential chords and basic strums. After four months of summer he has made a transformation that is on par with coal and diamonds. When playing now, Ryan can produce some of the most complex and beautiful tunes on the guitar with loads of different strumming and picking patterns all rolled up into one. It is quite amazing to not only hear him play but watch him play. His level of concentration is unparalleled but at the same time he plays with an odd sense of relaxation which in turn shows his true passion for the guitar he plays.
On Thursday (14th) I helped Ryan record his first album featuring 8 original songs and 1 cover by the Early November. All of the tracks (with the exception of the first song "May Surprise You") were recorded live and are completely unedited- Ryan had one shot to do it right and he hit the bullseye. I have taken the liberty of setting up a myspace music and youtube account so anyone can listen to his new album entitled "Chad's Brother" (We ended up with that name after being forced to enter in a temporary album title when recording. Afterwords we forgot to change it back to something not as odd). All nine songs are availble to listen too and to download free of charge by going to the following locations:

Side note- Both these pictures were taken of Ryan while recording.
